Spotify is for porn?

March 20th, 2010

Recorded in AVN, some kind of conference for porn (I guess there are), these are a series of interviews with porn stars. You get to know from their favourite positions (doggy is king!) to advise on ‘How to make it as a porn star’ and some individual interviews. The interviews are funny as both the interviewer (Anand Bhatt, rocker/actor) and the actresses (they are all female) behave in a very casual and tongue in cheek style. Maybe one of the strangest recordings ever in spotify (the subliminal stuff being very close). Of course be advised this is adult content for sure, NSFW, etc.

BONUS:

Also on Spotify ‘Making of a Porn Star’ by Deepthroat an electronic music recording with lots of spicy samples.

Charles Mingus Interviewed

December 13th, 2009

Irascible, demanding, bullying, and probably a genius, Charles Mingus cut himself a uniquely iconoclastic path through jazz in the middle of the 20th century, creating a legacy that became universally lauded only after he was no longer around to bug people. As a bassist, he knew few peers, blessed with a powerful tone and pulsating sense of rhythm, capable of elevating the instrument into the front line of a band. But had he been just a string player, few would know his name today. Rather, he was the greatest bass-playing leader/composer jazz has ever known, one who always kept his ears and fingers on the pulse, spirit, spontaneity, and ferocious expressive power of jazz.
